Behavioral Rules

Monitor transactions with behavioral rules

Through an SDK, ARDID can analyze the behavior of each client individually when using the application, whether mobile or web. This allows identifying whether the usage patterns correspond to the client or if there may have been a session hijacking.

ARDID includes a module where the actions of each application to be analyzed are defined (100% configurable for each entity and each application). Subsequently, reputational rules are configured to be analyzed online for each transaction.

Among the rules to be analyzed are:

  • Total number of actions performed.
  • Time elapsed between actions.

For each rule, a tolerance range is configured, an outlier range is set to identify outliers, and positive or negative weights are assigned. These are used to calculate the transaction's risk level.

The identification of an outlier can generate a real-time alert to notify of a possible Account Take-Over (ATO) attack.
